Pair of George II Antique Silver Candlesticks

A pair of early George II Antique Silver cast Candlesticks with waisted sconces, octagonal panelled stems with cast flutes and girdles. The bases are of shaped quatrefoil stepped form. The detachable nozzles have applied twin waisted bands. The candlesticks are made by Charles Hatfield of London in 1736. (Hatfield was subordinate silversmith to George I and II 1723-39). Height 7.75 inches 19.75 cm. Weight without the nozzles 30troy oz. 12 dwt, with the nozzles 33 troy oz. 7 dwt
