Pair Antique Sterling Silver Georgian Meat Dishes

This magnificent matched pair of antique Georgian sterling Meat Dishes are of an oval shaped form with a sunken plain oval central well. The well of these silver platters is plain and unembellished. The raised shaped gadroon borders were ornamented in 1776 with the crest of George Pitt 1st Baron Rivers. Dimensions 15.5 x 10. 82 inches 39.37 cm by 27.48 cm . Both Dishes made by Frederick Kandler of London one in 1752 and the other 1761
