This Splendid George III Meat Dish is of oval form with a plain sunken oval central well which is unembellished. The border is engraved with the armorials and crest of George Hamilton -Gordon. Dimensions 22.5 x 17 inches , 57.15 x 43.18 cm
The Coat of Arms of George Hamilton-Gordon, 4th Earl of Aberdeen, who married in 1805 and was Prime Minister between 1852-1855. Given as a Wedding Present in 1805 from Haddo House Aberdeenshire.
